Rebrand
Pop-Up
The concept for the popup was inspired by the quintessential Manhattan apartment of Piperlime's "It" girl. It is sophisticated, elegant, and whimsical. The most unique aspect of this project was that I worked with Savannah Grace, an interior designer at Gensler. She managed to secure all furniture on loan. Because of the short lifespan of the popup (2 days), it didn't make sense for us to buy thousands of dollars worth of furniture.
Retail Digital Signage
This concept was for our flagship store in SOHO. We wanted a way to engage her in a more meaningful way with the benefit of limiting the amount of printed signage throughout the store. The content would be pushed to the ipads through a web interface and be specific to the zone it was located in. She would also be able to shop directly from the sign if she was looking for an "online only" product.
Piperlime was a growing start-up and as such I wore multiple hats, working on retail store projects, designing for the CRM channel where my designs have been pinned thousands of times as well as having the pleasure of running the social channels and growing the audience to well over 100k just as “social shopping” was at it infancy.
Soho NYC
Flagship Remodel
During Piperlime’s rebrand, we wanted to do a modest update to our store to reflect the new look. To kick-off the new store update we partnered with a social influencer, Sincerely Jules. A-list celebrities, Piperlime CEO and other top executives from Gap Inc. would be there for the rebrand launch. The budget was modest and it had to be completed in two weeks! I recommended that myself and our store ops manager head to Soho to be “boots on the ground” to shop and get all the furniture, props and fabrics we need in such a short timeframe. They agreed and sent us out immediately.
A pioneer to UGC
When we decided to rebrand as a company in 2014 we wanted to offer her an experience that made it fun to shop and get inspired. Enter UGC, we partnered with Olapic which surfaces relevant brand photos from social media and then helps identify and display customer photos that have the most potential to drive conversions.
